Biography:
Vicky-Ann Girard- Licensed Massage Therapist/Sole Proprietor

I graduated from North Eastern Institute of Whole Health, Manchester, NH in November 2003. I am a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association and a Nationally Certified, NH and Maine State Licensed Massage Therapist. I have been practicing in the Concord, NH area for the past 8 years. I am passionate about educating clients with ways to help overcome injuries and achieve stress relief through massage therapy and alternative health therapies.
I am a current volunteer for Breathe NH by providing chair massage to walkers and staff for the Seacoast walk, as well as providing sports massage to pedal bikers and staff for the Seacoast bike tour. I also participate in community Old Home Days and health fairs by offering chair massage at a discounted rate.
I also offer shadowing services for High Seniors that are interested in the wellness field.
I am a contributing sponsor/vendor for the Bow/PTO Girls Night Out Annual Event; I am a contributing sponsor for the Concord Breast Cancer Center’s Annual Heart of the Grape Wine Tasting Event; I am a vendor for the Concord - NHTI Student Campus Activities Board Biannual Student Stress Relievers Event; I am a contributing sponsor/vendor for the Concord Cooperative Market’s Annual Spring Fling.
I am continually taking advanced courses to provide optimum care to my clients and community. I am currently pursuing certification in Myofascial Release and Soft Tissue Mobilization (MRSTM) as well as Educator of Infant Massage (CEIM). I have completed Clinical Sports Massage Technique Training, 7/2007 Advanced Chair Massage Technique Training, 10/2008; Thai Massage for the Table Technique Training, 6/2010; and Effective Techniques for Sciatica Syndrome Training, 7/2011.
I am a past member of Concord Toastmasters, District 45, Club 6954, Concord, NH, where I served as VP of Public Relations and earned a Competent Communicator designation, and completed 9 leadership projects. I also served as President of Business Networking International, Granite Referrals of Concord, NH. I presented on the Benefits of Aromatherapy at the VA Medical Centers Employee Wellness Day; I presented on the Benefits of Massage Therapy to the Concord Cooperative’s Move it and Lose Program.
I am also available for corporate chair massage, medical waiting room portable massage and pre-/post event sports massage.
